Our Little Pumpkin!
Halloween at the McLaughlin house was pretty much a non-event, but Sean did dress up as an adorable little pumpkin, and we got some wonderful pictures of him.
Your son is beautiful! I got the link to your blog from another infertility blog, and I just want to thank you for all the details! I am on CD11, taking injections, and nearing the trigger shot. Reading what you want through last January (with all the details) and seeing your happy ending makes feel hope (though I agree hope is tricky business). Again, thanks for the information, and all the best to you and your family!

A little about me
This is my journey through infertility, pregnancy and motherhood with my loving husband and best friend.
I am 26 years old(DH is 29), and have been trying to conceive a baby since June 2006. We were blessed with a pregnancy in July 2007, unfortunately that ended in a blighted ovum miscarriage in late August 2007. Since then we have been working with a fertility specialist, been diagnosed with unexplained infertility and have had two failed IUI's.
On our third IUI, we got a BFP!!! Unfortunately, the pregnancy hasn't been all easy, I was diagnosed with a 2cm kidney stone at 22 weeks. I was put on driving restrictions at that point, and had a lot more doctors appointments. The stone will be removed after our little boy arrives.
Sean Patrick arrived October 5, 2008. He was 7lb 15oz and 19 inches at birth. He is our perfect little miracle, and we are so in love with him.
